Haley Hunt
Hi y'all — I'm Haley. I bring lived experience and a strengths-based heart to this work.
I am a social worker with a Master's degree in Social Work from Boise State University. I bring my own lived experiences navigating systemic barriers, as well as professional experience in case management, crisis management, and supportive counseling to incarcerated individuals.
As someone who is neurodivergent and queer, I strive to help others in processing trauma, finding comfort, and fostering belonging within their own story, identity, and lived experiences.
Therapy that meets you where you are
These are the beliefs that shape how I work and the space I strive to create in every session.
Talking to someone for the first time in the therapeutic setting can be daunting. I will do everything in my power to make sure your experience is tailored to your needs — at a pace that feels right for you.
I hope to affirm and explore individual identities with a collaborative approach with each of my clients. Learning more about yourself is what therapy is all about!
I hope to assist everyone in better identifying their strengths to better tackle obstacles and experience the joys that life has to offer.
Relational therapy, grounded in lived experience
Haley offers an approach to therapy with teens and adults that is relational, strengths-based, and grounded in the understanding that our experiences are shaped by the many systems and relationships around us. She values creating a space where therapy can be approachable rather than daunting.
