I'm Anai. I bring both training and lived experience to this work

I'm a therapist who brings both clinical training and lived experience into my work. I've been practicing therapy for nearly two years and have spent close to a decade engaged in understanding how systems impact the mental health of children and families. I earned my MSW from Northwest Nazarene University and my undergraduate degree from University of Idaho.

As a queer, disabled, neurodivergent, BIPOC person, I understand how layered identities shape lived experience. I hold an intersectional lens in therapy — recognizing that what you're navigating is influenced by relationships, systems, and the environments you move through. I also offer bilingual sessions in English and Spanish.

My Philosophy

Show up as you are — all of you

These are the beliefs that shape how I work and the space I strive to create in every session.

You are seen in full

I create a space that feels grounded, affirming, and attentive to the whole of who you are — not just the parts that feel most visible or most acceptable.

01
Identity doesn't exist in a vacuum

What you're navigating is influenced by relationships, systems, and the environments you move through. I hold an intersectional lens — because your experience is shaped by all of who you are.

02
Healing is a collaborative process

Whether we're building skills, processing trauma, or exploring what it means to feel more connected to yourself — we do this work together, without judgment, at a pace that honors you.

03

Clinical training meets lived experience

I bring nearly a decade of experience understanding how systems shape the mental health of children and families — alongside clinical training in PCIT, DBT, TF-CBT, and crisis intervention. My own lived experience as a queer, disabled, neurodivergent, BIPOC person informs everything I do. This isn't just a professional commitment — it's personal.
