Sarah Kristina Erickson,LMSW
It is my hope to serve as a guide for those ready to pursue healing in their lives. I work collaboratively with each client to identify the tools and approaches that best fit their unique needs and goals. While I am trained in a wide range of evidence-based practices—including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Narrative Therapy, Systems Therapy, Solution-Focused Brief Therapy, Somatic approaches, Polyvagal Therapy, and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR)—I believe therapy is more than following a manual. Each person deserves an individualized approach that honors their story.
I have had the privilege of working with diverse cultures and communities, with specific experience in parenting and child welfare, foster care, childhood trauma, youth support, sexual health, relationships, LGBTQ+ concerns, and supporting refugees and immigrants as they navigate healthy cultural integration. I also specialize in working with ADHD and neurodivergent clients, helping them build on their strengths and develop strategies that fit the way their brains work best.
My office is a safe, affirming space where clients can show up as themselves and move at a pace that feels right. I am passionate about helping people define their own mental health goals and empowering them to create meaningful change. I believe that all it takes is one caring relationship to spark growth, discover solutions, and make a lasting difference.
